We're aiming to change that by multiplying each weaver's daily income by 8x. This makes a visible difference in each woman's role - to be able to make decisions, feed her children, and bring them to the hospital when necessary.

It's more than the monetary benefit. It's allowing women to move from manual, unskilled labor to passionate, skilled work. It's sustaining their heritage and Inca culture. It's a tradition that they pass down with pride and respect, carrying on the Inca knowledge and ways.

Ministerio de la Mujer y Poblaciones Vulnerables

We've partnered with the Ministry of Vulnerable Populations (MIMP) in Cusco, a state-backed NGO, that works to guarantee single mothers coming from domestic violence and sexual abuse a life free of violence and discrimination.

Women come to the MIMP looking for support - we then meet them, hear their stories, and provide them with a stable income.

Because there are talent boundaries to enter the job market, we teach each woman to weave for free.

This allows them to call their own shots. Weaving is a skill that will forever be in their toolkit.

We hope to empower these women so they can live the life all mothers should.

Because of you, we’re able to support the studies of Peruvian young women in University! These young women are at the top of their class, yet have no financial means to continue their education. Each one has a deeply inspiring story of how she has persevered to become the hero of her own story.
