Sustainably harvested without chemicals or pesticides, alpaca fiber is spun into yarn without the need for treatments to remove a waxy substance called lanolin that’s present in other fibers like sheep’s wool. This means the fiber retains its natural softness and requires less frequent washing, thanks to its antimicrobial properties.
