Our Trail hiking socks provide sustainable performance with Tracable Alpaca™, which is super soft yet naturally lightweight and moisture wicking. Microscopic air pockets in alpaca fiber provide excellent insulation while reducing bulk. These air pockets trap heat close to your feet when hiking in colder conditions, while also allowing excess heat and moisture to escape on hot summer trails for breathability.
Made ethically in Peru in a variety of colors and lengths, PAKA Trail crew socks are also faster drying and more odor resistant than other wool hiking socks. Alpaca fiber has about half the water retention rate of other wools, reducing dry time and preventing the moist environments where odor-producing bacteria can thrive.
We enhanced these natural properties to create a truly high-performance hiking sock for any climate, adding a durable ribknit construction, a breathable mobility mesh on the top of the foot, a tightened compression arch support, and an extended heel cushion.
