Position Summary
This person is the steward and builder of PAKA's brand. As Head of Brand & Creative, you will partner directly with the Founder to shape how millions of people experience, understand, and connect with PAKA.
You will own the company's brand strategy, storytelling, campaigns, creative direction, content production, PR strategy, partnerships, ambassadors, and more - working in close partnership with PAKA's Art Director and leading the broader Brand team to ensure every customer touchpoint builds long-term brand equity. Together, you will raise PAKA's creative standard while establishing the brand as a global leader in natural fiber apparel through culturally relevant stories, experiences, and campaigns that inspire people to live a life connected to source.

Brand Strategy & Stewardship
Mission: Build one of the world's most admired premium natural fiber brands.
- Partner with the Founder to evolve and steward PAKA's long-term brand strategy.
- Own brand positioning, messaging, voice, and premium standards across every customer touchpoint.
- Develop and own PAKA's annual Brand Calendar, establishing the brand narratives, campaigns, partnerships, cultural moments, and storytelling priorities that define how the company shows up throughout the year.
- Ensure every initiative reinforces PAKA's mission of helping people live connected to source.
Brand Campaigns & Growth
Mission: Grow awareness and earn cultural relevance through exceptional storytelling
- Develop breakthrough brand campaigns and moments that grow awareness
- Own PAKA’s PR strategy, partnerships, ambassador program, and influencer strategy.
- Build annual brand calendars that answer: “what does the world remember PAKA for this season?” Every season should have 1-2 flagship moments that everyone in the company can answer immediately.
- Identify where PAKA should show up culturally and proactively create opportunities.
- Build a storytelling engine across YouTube, documentaries, editorial, and social.
- Raise the creative standard across every piece of work produced by PAKA.

Creative Production & Execution

- Partner closely with the Art Director to translate brand strategy and campaign ideas into exceptional creative across every channel.
- Build and lead PAKA's in-house creative production capability, team, processes, and external production network.
- Drive projects from concept through launch with exceptional attention to quality.
- Ensure campaigns, partnerships, and content are delivered on time without compromising creative excellence.

Position Summary
We are looking for a passionate and innovative Designer to join our product team. As PAKA’s Apparel Designer, you will have the unique opportunity to establish PAKA’s evolution as a leading brand in its own category. This role requires a creative powerhouse with a keen eye for detail, heightened taste level and the ability to manage a project from conception to consumer.
You will be responsible for infusing fresh ideas into our product line, ensuring they align with PAKA’s refined aesthetic and ethos. You will work closely with various teams, including Merchandising and Product Development to create high-quality, timeless, and well-crafted products that inspire our customers.
Your job is to design timeless apparel and special projects that establish PAKA as the world's leading natural fiber adventure apparel brand. Every product should enable our customer to travel lighter and move seamlessly from adventures to everyday life.
Note: this role requires a strong development background and not only the ability to be creative. You will need to be able to see a product all the way from concept to production and everything in between.
Role Responsibilities
Vision Translation & Product Design
- Partner with the Founder, VP Product, and external Lead Designer to translate creative vision into commercially successful products.
- Take strategic direction/concepts/product briefs and translate them into original design ideas, sketches, silhouettes, constructions, and product expressions that bring PAKA’s vision to life
- Generate multiple distinct concepts and design directions in response to a product brief, demonstrating creativity, range, and original thinking.
- Contribute original thinking, materials, details, and innovations that strengthen and elevate the product vision
- Champion a high standard of taste, ensuring every product reflects PAKA's evolving design language, premium positioning, and commitment to creating products customers are proud to own.
- Report on current trends and style moments for the team and overall company.
Product Design & Seasonal Line Creation
- Design commercially successful products across all categories (knitwear, wovens, outerwear, bottoms, AXS)
- Responsible from creating customer-centered designs starting with seasonal concepts and working through to commercial viability.
- Visualize line plans through sketches, concept boards, comp products, and prototypes. Own mock ups.
- Present concepts and designs to stakeholders and incorporate feedback.
- Ensure all products meet PAKA's aesthetic, performance, and quality standards.
- Responsible for PAKA Collaborations and Special Projects by working outside of the Seasonal Product Calendar and with close partnership of key cross-functional partners.
Product Development Partnership & Execution
- Partner closely with Product Development to translate design intent into production-ready products.
- Create clear design packages, technical sketches, and supporting documentation.
- Attend fittings and collaborate on construction, fit, trims, and functionality with a problem solving attitude.
- Coordinate the Lap Dip Process and provide an Educated POV on coloring the seasonal line with a perspective of current and future trends and how it works with PAKA.
- Ensure design intent is maintained throughout development and commercialization.
- Work cross-functionally with Merchandising, Development, Materials, and Sourcing teams.
Consumer, Market & Trend Research
- Start with our customer - using a curious mindset, take consumer feedback and translate into product design.
- Research macro trends, consumer behavior, competitive brands, and emerging materials. With the objective to share findings internally.
- Generate a continuous pipeline of new product ideas, silhouettes, constructions, and innovations that extend beyond the existing line plan.

Position Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in apparel design
- 3+ years of experience in Design and/or Development
- Portfolio demonstrates original product thinking, strong concept development, and the ability to design across multiple apparel categories.
- Demonstrated ability to design across multiple apparel categories including knitwear, wovens, outerwear, bottoms, and performance apparel.
- Strong Adobe Illustrator and other design related software proficiency. PLM experience preferred but not necessary
- Strong written and verbal communication: understanding of what to say in specific conversations, with different audiences
- Strong builder of relationships: this role requires close partnerships with Merchandising, Technical Design, Product Development, and Materials, requiring high levels of collaboration and grace, done in a way that represents the Design team’s values of creativity, kindness, curiosity first, and leading without ego

Your job is to build focused, profitable assortments that establish PAKA as the world’s leading natural fiber adventure apparel brand. Every seasonal line should help our customer travel lighter, own fewer things, and move seamlessly from adventure to everyday life.
Note: this is a hands-on product role. You will need to move comfortably between strategy and execution, maintain command of line details, and drive decisions across the full product lifecycle.
Role Responsibilities:
Product Strategy & Seasonal Assortment
- Build and manage seasonal product assortments aligned to PAKA’s brand strategy, customer needs, category opportunities, and revenue goals.
- Develop and maintain line plans, category architecture, assortment breadth and depth, color and size strategies, and product lifecycle recommendations across seasonal and core products.
- Translate company and product strategy into clear product briefs that define the customer need, use case, competitive context, target price, margin objective, and commercial opportunity.
- Balance innovation, franchise growth, core continuity, and newness to create a cohesive assortment with clear choices and productive SKU counts.
- Create and present seasonal assortment strategies, visual line plans, and product recommendations to leadership and cross-functional partners.
Business Analysis & Commercial Performance
- Analyze weekly, seasonal, and historical sales performance using revenue, units, sell-through, gross margin, return rate, inventory productivity, and SKU-level results to identify opportunities and risks.
- Lead pre-season planning and post-season hindsight, translating performance insights into actionable recommendations for future assortments, pricing, color, and category investment.
- Own SKU productivity analysis and recommend adds, drops, carryovers, extensions, and exits to improve assortment clarity and financial performance.
- Monitor consumer feedback, product reviews, channel insights, and marketplace trends to identify unmet needs and inform product opportunities.
- Partner with Planning and Finance to align line architecture, style counts, forecast inputs, and margin expectations with business targets.
Pricing, Margin & Product Viability
- Develop pricing architecture and recommended retail prices that reflect PAKA’s premium positioning, competitive landscape, customer value, and margin objectives.
- Partner with Product Development and Sourcing to evaluate cost, margin, minimums, lead times, and commercial viability throughout development.
- Identify margin or pricing risks early and guide cross-functional trade-off decisions while protecting product intent, quality, and customer value.
- Maintain a clear point of view on good-better-best pricing, opening price points, and category price ladders.
Cross-Functional Product Creation & Execution
- Partner closely with Design and Product Development from concept through commercialization to ensure products meet customer, aesthetic, quality, margin, and timing objectives.
- Participate in product reviews, fittings, risk reviews, and milestone meetings, bringing a clear commercial and customer perspective to decisions.
- Collaborate with Sourcing, Materials, and Production to support commercialization, resolve product risks, and maintain seasonal execution.
- Drive product calendar discipline and milestone adherence, proactively surfacing dependencies, decisions, and risks that could affect launch readiness.
- Ensure product information, line lists, pricing, naming, attributes, and system data are accurate and current across merchandising tools and cross-functional handoffs.
Go-to-Market & Product Storytelling
- Partner with Marketing, Ecommerce, Creative, and Sales to translate seasonal product strategy into clear launch priorities, product stories, channel assortments, and customer-facing education.
- Provide product hierarchy, key-item focus, feature-benefit language, and assortment context to support campaigns, site merchandising, wholesale, and internal selling tools.
- Ensure go-to-market plans reflect product availability, seasonal flow, customer use cases, and the strategic role of each product in the assortment.

As Executive Assistant to Founder & CEO to PAKA's Founder & CEO, you will serve as his right hand, protecting time, driving follow-through, and ensuring the highest priorities of the business move forward. This role requires a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes initiative, and can anticipate the needs of senior executives. This position is ideal for someone who is highly driven, adaptable, has exceptional communication skills, and is eager to contribute to the success of a mission-focused brand.
You'll serve as an important force multiplier, creating leverage that allows the Founder & CEO to focus on building the next chapter of PAKA.
This is an in-person role based in Boulder, Colorado, requiring regular presence at PAKA HQ and the flexibility to support occasional travel and after-hours priorities when needed.
Role Responsibilities:
Executive Operations:
- Manage scheduling, calendar coordination, and meeting logistics for the CEO.
- Prioritize and manage time-sensitive tasks, ensuring seamless execution of meetings, events, and deliverables.
- Own meeting preparation, effectiveness, and follow-through by ensuring a) agendas, pre-reads, objectives, and relevant materials are distributed in advance of key meetings, and b) action items are followed up on.
- Own CEO follow-through by ensuring commitments, decisions, and action items are tracked to completion across the leadership team.
- Manage ad hoc projects related to business operations, strategic initiatives and cross-functional projects
Communication
- Manage and prioritize the CEO's inbox, ensuring timely responses and visibility into high-priority communications. Manage incoming correspondence, prioritize tasks, and filter messages for urgency.
- Draft emails, meeting briefs, and key communications on behalf of the CEO while maintaining his voice and style.
- Track follow-ups, decisions, and commitments across stakeholders to ensure timely execution and nothing falling through the cracks.
Logistics & Travel
- Plan and coordinate complex domestic and international travel, including flights, accommodations, ground transportation, and itineraries for the CEO and other senior executives. Ensure all necessary materials are provided for the trips (travel documents, meeting briefs, materials, visas, etc).
- Handle last-minute travel adjustments and troubleshoot logistical challenges as needed.
- Plan and execute all company events, quarterly leadership offsites, executive meetings, and team-building initiatives.
- Handle expense reports, invoice processing, and financial reconciliations.
Office & Special Projects
- Manage office supplies, vendor relationships, and facilities coordination.
- Serve as a project manager for the buildout of PAKA’s new HQ in Boulder
- Arrange for adequate coverage when out of office for vacations, sick time, errands, etc.

Who You Are:
Paka is looking for a Senior Accountant to join our team! In this role, you will report directly to the Controller. You have a strong accounting background that you’re looking to apply to a fast-growing business setting. You will improve financial transparency and enhance processes to improve decision-making and support the rapid scaling of the business.
The Senior Accountant plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of Paka’s financial records and reporting. This position supports accounting activities, including month‑end close, account reconciliations, technical accounting research, and financial analysis. The Senior Accountant serves as a subject matter expert for assigned areas, supports audits and system implementations, and helps drive continuous improvement across accounting processes.
This role requires strong technical accounting expertise, sound judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while collaborating across functions. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and aligned with Paka’s mission and values.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the full month-end close cycle, including AP, AR, standard and non-standard journal entry posting, and other ad hoc reporting as required.
- Analyze and reconcile complex balance sheet accounts, identify discrepancies, research root causes, and prepare correcting entries in accordance with GAAP and internal accounting policies
- Support internal and external audits by preparing audit schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation
- Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable processes, serve as the primary point of contact for key vendors and customers, and execute weekly vendor reconciliations to support inventory reporting.
- Manage sales tax accruals and reporting.
- Support the monthly budget readout process by preparing department-level financial statements
- Develop efficiencies through process automation.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally to research accounting questions and support finance‑related initiatives
- Participate in finance‑led system implementations and enhancements, including defining, building, and testing accounting requirements
- Effectively prioritize competing deadlines and responsibilities while delivering high‑quality work with minimal supervision
- Contribute to and lead ad hoc projects and special assignments as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Professional accounting experience with a large public accounting firm
- Demonstrated ability to independently research and apply U.S. GAAP

- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Microsoft Excel.
- Possesses excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong time-management skills and ability to excel in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- CPA or CPA‑eligible
- Masters degree in Finance or related field
- Background in a high‑growth, multi‑entity, or fast‑paced environment
- Experience with system implementations and accounting process automation
- Exhibit excellent critical thinking abilities.
- Be a creative and proactive problem solver.
Reports To: Controller
Compensation:
$80K – $90K depending on experience, plus performance-based incentives.
