With natural thermoregulating properties, our men’s alpaca wool sweaters keep you warm when it’s cold and cool when you’re hiking or active. Each PAKA sweater offers lasting freshness and durability, thanks to alpaca fiber’s natural odor resistance and high-tensile strength.
The alpaca fiber in our sustainable sweaters and hoodies is sheared and separated by hand, colored with environmentally friendly dyes, and knit by our team of Peruvian women weavers with a unique, hand-woven Inca ID. Unlike sheep’s wool or cashmere, alpaca doesn't contain or require the removal of a waxy substance called lanolin, so this process avoids harsh chemical treatments. Plus, its antimicrobial and moisture-wicking properties mean less need for constant washing.
