OUR STORY

Our lives are constantly changing, from the city, to the mountains, to the ocean.

Curiosity fuels us. We peer over the edge and go beyond the norm.

For that, we create products that allow us to live lighter.

Our clothing is made from one of the most functional and sustainable materials on earth - alpaca wool.

OUR MISSION

OUR MISSION

The products we build, the experiences we create, all support a simple mission:

Consumers and creators made equal.

Woman weaving in Chinchero, Peru.
We've built our team and system vertically.

What that means is, we trace each part down to the origin; from sourcing the materials from local farmers, to using natural dyes, to empowering women weavers, our system works in synergy with nature, and we strive to be conscious of every part of it.

Our team gets inspired when they see their work being appreciated in another hemisphere, the same way you do when you know your purchase is tangibly impacting their lives thousands of miles away.

MEET THE FOUNDER

MEET THE FOUNDER

Kris Cody started Paka after taking a year to work in South America. He returned back to the US with an alpaca wool sweater. Everywhere he took it, people would always ask how they could get one. He remembered the Peruvian woman who had sold him the sweater, and saw a gap to bridge. He returned on a one-way flight to Cusco and trekked around Peru, eventually building a team of women weavers.

Kris spends the majority of his time living alongside the weavers and is dedicated to building an innovative model that leads by example in the apparel industry.
