Typically, keeping cool in summer means that clothing is treated using harsh chemicals. But PAKA is committed to delivering the same results in a more responsible way—and that’s where CoolMax® technology comes into the picture.
Rather than adding a final chemical coating once a style is complete, the CoolMax® method happens at the very start, as the fibers are being spun into yarn. Each fiber cross section ends up looking like a plus sign (+). Because the result is a larger fiber surface area, moisture can more quickly and efficiently evaporate off your skin like a breath of fresh air.

Our ultralight crews are made using a fabric blend of 50% Alpaca, 30% Cotton, and 20% CoolMax® polyester fibers—working together so that each style feels like a summer dream against your skin. Here’s exactly what each one brings to the table.

But it also keeps you smelling fresh, thanks to natural odor-reducing properties.
- Cotton: Soft and breathable to feel cooler and more comfortable on warm or humid days.
- CoolMax® Polyester: Thanks to its unique yard spinning method, CoolMax® fibers quickly wick sweat away from your skin, keeping you cool and dry on the go. It's also what helps these styles feel so silky smooth.
