Length Guide

Choose between classic and long classic lengths to get the tailored look and perfect coverage that fits your style.
How to Measure
1
Arm length
With elbows slightly bent, measure from the center back of neck (at the base), across the top of the shoulders, down the arm, to the wrist. Keep your arm relaxed and slightly bent while measuring.
2
Chest
Measure around the fullest part of your chest, keeping the tape parallel to the ground and comfortably under your arms. Make sure the tape is snug, but not tight. Relax your arms by your sides while measuring.
3
Waist
Measure around the narrowest part of your waist, usually just above your belly button (This will be the crease created from bending). Stand naturally and keep the tape a bit loose. Don’t suck in your stomach.
4
Hips
Measure around the fullest part of hip/seat circumference below your natural waistline. Stand with your feet together and make sure the tape is parallel to the floor and comfortably snug.
5
Inseam (pants)
Measure along the inside leg from crotch to ankle. Stand straight with your feet slightly apart.

Details
Innovation often comes from the places you'd least expect, and that's the story of The Huascarán – a sustainable puffer jacket built from two unlikely materials. The shell and lining use Pertex® fabrics with NetPlus® recycled nylon, made from discarded fishing nets off the coast of South America, giving you lightweight and packable protection while helping reduce ocean plastic pollution. Our patented PAKAFILL® insulation blends ethical alpaca fiber with recycled polyester for warmth without bulk. This retro-mountaineering-inspired jacket has angled front pockets that sit clear of your harness, with an interior chest and mesh glove pockets that hold what you actually use. Adjustable cuffs and a bottom hem cinch system seal out the cold, and a 2-way zipper lets you adapt as conditions change. The uniquely woven face fabric repels rain and snow, and a 2-way zipper lets you adapt as conditions change, whether you're climbing, skiing or commuting.

PAKAFILL® Insulation
PAKAFILL® InsulationHigh warmth-to-weight ratio with a 2.27 CLO value. 130 GSM in the body and 110 GSM in the sleeves. Half the volume of down. Keeps you warm when wet (unlike down, which can be life-threatening on the mountain). Thermoregulates from cold temperatures at rest to high aerobic activity to keep you in a neutral comfort range.
Traceable Alpaca™ from Peru
The natural alpaca fiber used in PAKAFILL® is fully traceable, all the way back to the small farm in the Andes where it was sourced
Pertex® Shell & Lining Made From NetPlus® Nylon
Made from discarded fishing nets sourced in South America, this fabric offers lightweight and packable protection for the shell with a soft and super lightweight ripstop lining. Bluesign® approved material for the highest level of security for consumers to ensure healthy and safe textile materials.
Water-Repellent Finish
Water-resistant coating keeps moisture out without harmful chemicals or any intentionally added PFAS.
Downproof Construction
Prevents fiber leakage for long-lasting performance.
Made from all corners of Peru, the Huascarán rethinks what a classic puffer can be. Alpaca-based PAKAFILL® insulation provides warmth you can feel good about, while recycled fishing-net fabric adds durability and purpose. Thoughtful features - like harness-friendly pockets, adjustable cuffs, and heat-sealing cinch systems - ensure comfort in cold, demanding environments. The result is a jacket that honors mountaineering heritage while pushing material innovation forward.
This jacket performs best in the temperature range of:
PAKAFILL®
Other Jackets
Sustainable Insulation
Insulated with fiber from free-roaming alpacas in Peru.
Insulated with fossil fuels extracted from the earth (synthetics) or feathers from dead birds (down).
Storm-proof
PAKAFILL® doesn’t wilt when you’re caught in the rain, snow, or wind, keeping you safe in even the most extreme climates.
Weaker when wet. Other insulations (such as down) lose their loft when the weather gets tough, putting you in a dangerous place on the mountain
Sweat and odor-proof
PAKAFILL® is naturally anti-bacterial and odor-resistant (with only 8% moisture retention rate), requiring less washing or care.
Sweaty and smelly. Synthetics trap sweat and bacteria together - a combination which results in odor.
Made with care
The fiber in PAKAFILL® is fully traceable, all the way back to the coordinates of the small farm in the Andes where it was shorn.
Lack of transparency with sourcing and where the fibers or manufacturing is from.

PAKAFILL® has ½ the volume of down due to its uniquely structured hollow air pockets, which increase the fiber’s thermal retention while allowing for increased ventilation - keeping the material light, warm, and dry.
Thermoregulating
Naturally adapts to the temperature, keeping you warm in the cold and cool in the heat
Durable
Alpaca fiber has a tensile strength of 50 N/ktex
Lightweight
Alpaca fiber has hollow air pockets that give it an incredible warmth-to-weight ratio
Water resistant
Dries faster and insulates better than down when wet

Stitched in Innovation
Since the beginning, we’ve focused on doing things differently and connecting consumers to where their clothing comes from, and that story starts in Peru. We wanted to build a jacket that represented Peru in every fiber. So we turned to two unlikely materials, fishing nets and alpaca wool, to bring you the Huascarán.
Countless hours of design, partnership, and testing have culminated in one of the most exciting releases we’ve ever had - and we’re thrilled to give you a behind-the-scenes look.
