How to Measure
1
Arm length
With elbows slightly bent, measure from the center back of neck (at the base), across the top of the shoulders, down the arm, to the wrist. Keep your arm relaxed and slightly bent while measuring.
2
Bust
Measure around the fullest part of your chest, keeping the tape parallel to the ground and comfortably under your arms. Make sure the tape is snug, but not tight. Relax your arms by your sides while measuring.
3
Waist
Measure around the narrowest part of your waist, usually just above your belly button (This will be the crease created from bending). Stand naturally and keep the tape a bit loose. Don’t suck in your stomach.
4
Hips
Measure around the fullest part of hip/seat circumference below your natural waistline. Stand with your feet together and make sure the tape is parallel to the floor and comfortably snug.
5
Inseam (pants)
Measure along the inside leg from crotch to ankle. Stand straight with your feet slightly apart.

Details
Beyond simply “inspired by,” the Heritage Collection was co-created directly with the Centro de Textiles Tradicionales del Cusco—incorporating the artisans’ stories and traditions into each style—with 5% of sales going back to the CTTC to support Quechua weavers and their families. Designed for layering, this women's alpaca fair isle sweater is an instant heirloom piece. It features a compass, or “challaypu” pattern across the chest, with the diamond representing the union of south, north, east and west in Inca culture. Here at PAKA, the pattern also reminds us to trust in our own intuition to guide us in the right direction. We hope that this super-soft fair isle crewneck keeps you feeling cozy and confident as well, wherever life takes you.

A Story in Every Thread
After over a year of dreaming, designing, and collaboration, PAKA’s first-ever Heritage Collection is finally here. It started with a question: how can we co-create more closely with the Quechua artisans and Andes communities who make PAKA what it is, and honor their heritage?
Created in partnership with master weaver Nilda Callañaupa Alvarez and the Centro de Textiles Tradicionales del Cusco (CTTC), this collection honors the Quechua weaving tradition - where every thread carries meaning, and each symbol tells a story.
As part of this collaboration, 5% of sales are returned to the weavers as royalties - a core belief that we must protect traditions and ancestral knowledge.
